Condos

Our six condominium units are bright and cozy. Units are located directly on the lake. All of the condos have fully stocked kitchens. Bed linens are provided as are hotel-style towels. Please bring your own beach towels. Daily housekeeping is not provided. Weekly summer rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

Condo check-in is 4:00 p.m.
Condo check-out is 10:00 a.m.

We cannot guarantee an early check-in, but you are welcome to come and use the grounds or enjoy the other facilities before checking in. Condo Deposit Policy: A $125.00 deposit is required on stays of less than one week. A $250.00 deposit is required on stays of more than one week.

Motel

We have eight air conditioned standard motel rooms.

Motel check-in is 4:00 p.m.
Motel check-out is 10:00 a.m.

The motel deposit is $25.00 to reserve a room. Note: A credit card is required as security on check-in. Deposits will be re-funded if cancellation is received one week prior to occupancy. Sorry, we cannot allow pets.

At Sandcastles On The Beach, you’ll find time to share with family and friends, a quiet place to rest from your busy life, to relax on the beach and catch some rays while the kids build sandcastles and play in the water.

Michigan’s Thumb is the perfect vacation spot for the whole family. We are located a short two hours from metropolitan Detroit, right at the “Tip-Of-The-Thumb”.

We’re two and a half miles west of Port Austin. There are great restaurants, outdoor activities and almost everything you could want for a great vacation located nearby.
